Love this place, found a copy of a rare Predator novel that I’ve been looking for for a long time. The bearded book guy is very knowledgeable and always available to help in a non-sales nor pushy way. Great place, would highly recommend!

I would call this a reading hobbyists store with a knowledgeable owner because when I was young I was devouring books and couldn’t wait to be able to talk to someone intelligently about books. This is the place! This place is pretty cool! We stopped in to look for a specific genre of manga for my son and the owner who is also a history teacher is very well read and showed us around so we would be oriented for future visits. There are an incredible amount of books in the store for the size. If it’s not on the shelf, it may be in a stack in front of the shelf because there are books in stacks anticipating shell space. If you don’t see the book you’re looking for, he’ll place an order for you to get it. It’s really nice to shop local because you get to spend local.

Great local shop. Owner was very personable, helpful and knowledgeable. Good selection of different genres and titles and if he didn't have it, he could order it easily. He was having a BOGO sale and had a local author present for sale and signing. Really hard to complain about 4 books for $15!! I will be back next time I'm in town

There's a huge variety of books here! This was our first time going and we definitely plan to be back! The gentleman who runs this shop is very helpful and will order books you're looking for if he doesn't have them

This gentleman ordered in the book I was looking for and had it right on time, and even offered to order the sequel book to it, which I'm looking forward to. Outstanding service, and tons of good books.

It is like walking into my past. Lots of books that I had wanted to read when I was younger, and the prices were pretty food from what I saw. Lots of the sci fi and fantasy that I didn't even know I was looking for. And the owner was friendly and helpful. I will be going back.

The gentleman working was very polite and informative. He has a lot of rare and unique dines. Definitely would recommend and be there!

Seriously one of the best book stores I've been to. One could easily find themselves losing hours of their day looking at the selection. Prices are fair, the variety is expansive, and the owner is very nice. I came out with two bags of books for half the price I am used to paying. I wish I lived closer so I could visit more, but I will definitely stop by again if we find ourselves in Joplin again.
